House Of Horology Recaps: The Art of Time and Fashion
Last week we hosted two awesome events that gave a whole new meaning to Horology and the art of time.
Thursday we had the pleasure of showcasing artist L. Mylott Manning‘s dark and mysterious dress of watches titled Kiss the Dark. The dress was displayed in our storefront window throughout the beginning of the month and the reception Thursday night was the culmination of the display, blending art, horology, and intrigue.
During the night Michael Durek, aka the Use, honored us with a special electromagnetic sound performance overlapping a projected video art piece by James Tuite. From 6-9 House of Horology was not only a watch store, but an experience. You could meet and mingle with the artist L. Mylott Manning, dance to the sounds played by Michael Durek, and see how time becomes an art by means of fashion.
If that wasn’t enough to rock the House, we had a blast pairing up with Robbie and Co. and Everett Clothing for a Holiday Shopping Party at Robbie and Co.’s mens shop at 147 West 35th St. We shared great food, great tunes by DJ Ricky Tempo, and a night of fun styling bespoke suits and ties with our classic watches.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our events and for your continued to support! Don’t forget to sign up for our e-mail invitations so you don’t miss the beat on any of our news, events, and more!
